Passive Entrance Doors


Passive houses are becoming an increasingly popular and prescribed way of building residential buildings due to the ever-increasing costs of heating and energy. When installed in a passive house, a passive entrance door in a wooden or aluminum-wood version must achieve a thermal conductivity of less than 0.8 W/m2K. DOORS door leaf made of a special Thermosafe panel achieves, with its thickness of 100 mm, a thermal conductivity UD of 0.62 W/(m2K).

This is primarily made possible by a special insulating core in a reinforced multilayer sandwich panel. The outer layers of the board can be made of different woods and allow the production of any cut-outs for glasses and graphics.
